I am a NZ Registered Nurse; then trained in
Scotland as a midwife, qualifying in 1992. I
have three boys, two of whom were born at
home. Since 1999 I have been working with
Rodney Coast Midwives, providing all aspects of midwifery care. I believe midwifery is a partnership, where women and their partners are offered sound information so that they can
make informed choices about their care. I am actively involved in a church and several community groups. I enjoy my family, organic gardening and handcrafts.
