Having a child is a major life event and I feel privileged to be involved in the care of women and babies as a Midwife. My aim is to provide information which supports women to be active in the decision making process regarding their care. I want to ensure women and their families are provided with positive experiences during this precious time in their lives.
Continuity of care is an aspect of Midwifery I am passionate about. I enjoy forming partnerships with women and their families to provide them with individualised care and support during pregnancy, birth and the early stages of parenthood.
I live on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula with my husband where I grew up. I enjoy the outdoors and love taking my very active golden Labrador for walks along my local beaches. I am a keen baker and enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
