  • Pregnancy Tests
  • Personal and individually suited midwifery care from conception until 4-6 weeks after baby's birth.
  • Comprehensive pre-natal classes: full course, Mother and Baby classes are available. We teach active birth and parenting skills and they are open to all.
  • Specialist Obstetrician available for consultations. Visits centre monthly
  • Pre-natal and post-natal care for those delivering at other hospitals.
  • Birth care for women out of our area who want to use the Birthing Centre.
  • Birth options: Birthing Centre, Hospital or Home Birth.
  • Pool available for labour and births.
  • Post-natal home visiting.
  • Liaison and contact for all maternity support services, e.g home help, Plunket and voluntary support groups.
